What is this?

A transport system combined a monorail with a ropeway. Opened on August 28th, 1999.
Class 200 gondra, length 3.3m, width 2.1m, height 3.6m. weight 2.5ton( 5700 lbs), carry maximum 37 people at 18 km per hour. The route is short, only 1.3km long, but includes maximam slope 263 per mil.

How to visit?

18 min. trip from Hiroshima station on the JR-West San-yo line and get off the train at Seno station (rapid service is not available!). you will find a Skyrail terminus, Midori-guchi, in the same building. This transport system connects Midori-guchi station with Midori-chuo terminus via Midori-nakamachi station. Midori-chuo terminus situates in the central area in the bedroom town named Skyrail-town-Midorizaka,
